We seek a Senior Java Developer with proficiency in AWS and an in-depth understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
As a Product Engineer, your role entails designing and creating software solutions that are both scalable and maintainable. Your technology expertise should be broad, spanning areas such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, along with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. Working harmoniously with a diverse team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, you will ensure the product is delivered efficiently and on time.
Responsibilities
- Comprehending project requirements by collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering solutions
- Designing and executing scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Applying clean coding principles in the creation and maintenance of code
- Implementing coding standards via code review
- Establishing and preserving automated tests for quality deliverables
- Engaging actively in Agile/Scrum development process and activities
- Delivering code on time and of high quality
- Documenting code and system architecture tasks
- Participating in system design and architecture discussions
- Providing mentorship to junior developers as a technical guide
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 4 years of software development experience, with a focus on Java
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Familiarity with optimization of complex systems with transactions, high-load systems
- Experience in creating innovative solutions (features)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL tools, APIs, and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Expertise in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- A strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English, with an Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency level, and effective verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
