Currently, we are looking for a Remote Senior Java Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Communication with Airline representitives, figuring out the details of their API
- Communication with Expedia stakeholders
- Technical Leadership of the respected team
- Participation in technical interviews to hire candidates
- Design/Propose technical solutions for new and existing product development
- Develop and promote the implementation and rollout plans
- Analyze, evaluate the existing integration approaches and propose improvement plans
- Analyze, evaluate the existing testing approaches (integration, performance), and propose the improvement plans
- Decision maker in all areas of a SDLC
- 24/7 On-call support on a rotation basis
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Java
- Experience with Spring Framework, SpringBoot, SpringCloud
- Experience with system architecture design and development.
- Experience with AWS. (cloud formation, VPC, ECS farmgate, VPCE)
- Experience with Splunk, datadog, operating
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, DynamoDB)
- Knowledge of Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, and cloud formation.
- Ability to start a project from scratch (Git, CI/CD pipeline, docker)
