We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Java Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining reliable back-end systems that prioritize scalability and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while mentoring junior developers and contributing to the overall technical advancement of the team.
Responsibilities
- Write, optimize, and maintain scalable and efficient back-end code
- Design and develop microservices and RESTful APIs to meet business requirements
- Perform thorough unit testing to ensure the stability and functionality of the codebase
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards and consistency across the codebase
- Champion best practices such as unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration processes
- Participate in SCRUM ceremonies to align with team goals and project timelines
- Collaborate on project planning and estimation to ensure tasks are delivered on time
- Support and mentor junior developers while fostering teamwork and technical growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Java programming
- Experience developing applications using Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with JUnit for unit testing
- Familiarity with creating and consuming RESTful APIs
- Practical knowledge of SQL for database operations
- Fluency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly in wealth management
- Knowledge of Spring Batch for batch processing tasks
- Familiarity with Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Understanding of microservice architecture patterns
- Experience using MongoDB for database management
