Senior Java Developer

Java, Spring Boot, Amazon Web Services, ReactJS, Algorithms & Data structures, Docker

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer to join our remote team and work on a customer-facing admin portal project. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-performance, optimized code for a distributed messaging environment. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to ensure the quality of the product.

Responsibilities

Write, test, and optimize high-performance code for a distributed messaging environment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery
Participate in resolving production issues and lead efforts towards augmenting a DevOps culture
Rewrite, refactor, and perfect code to ensure code maintainability
Craft clean code using design patterns and object-oriented concepts
Work with QA, product management, and operations in an agile environment
Use various technologies such as AWS, SpringBoot, React, DynamoDB, and Docker to deliver the project

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Java Developer
Strong proficiency in Java programming language
Excellent understanding of Spring Boot and Amazon Web Services
Hands-on experience with ReactJS and algorithms & data structures
Experience with Docker and containerization technologies
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level)

Nice to have

Experience with Chatbot development
Knowledge of Elasticsearch, DataDog, Looker, and Splunk
