Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in designing and developing web-based applications to join our remote team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will work with a team of experts in developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients. Our company is committed to delivering innovative solutions with the latest technologies, and we need a Senior Java Developer to help us achieve our goals.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using Java and related technologies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and product support groups to understand requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Implement REST APIs and ensure high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements
  • Work with AWS toolset and Infrastructure as a code – Serverless Terraform, AWS CloudFormation to deploy and maintain applications
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality and performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Java development
  • Expertise in Spring Boot, ReactJS, and REST API design and development
  • Extensive experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) toolset, including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Kubernetes, EC2, and Aurora
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as a code – Serverless Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
  • Strong command of JavaScript and related front-end programming frameworks, tools, and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent English language skills with an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
