Senior Java Developer

Java, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, ReactJS, Java Messaging, Cloud Platforms, Apache Kafka, Microsoft Azure

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to collaborate within a progressive cross-functional scrum team inside a dedicated business capability POD.

This position plays a key role in crafting backend solutions by utilizing expertise in Java and Spring Framework to enhance critical business functions.

Responsibilities

Enhance and maintain the Java codebase
Design backend microservices and REST APIs
Perform unit tests to ensure software reliability
Conduct code reviews to uphold quality standards
Promote best practices such as unit testing and continuous integration
Participate in SCRUM ceremonies for team collaboration
Contribute to project estimates and planning efforts
Mentor and provide technical support to team members

Requirements

3+ years of professional software development experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred
Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
Competency in API development and microservices architecture
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and ReactJS
Familiarity with Java Messaging and cloud platforms
Background in financial services or wealth management is advantageous
Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2+)

Nice to have

Understanding of financial services compliance frameworks
Familiarity with Apache Kafka and Microsoft Azure
