Senior Java Developer

Java, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, ReactJS, Java Messaging, Cloud Platforms, Apache Kafka, Microsoft Azure

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to collaborate within a progressive cross-functional scrum team inside a dedicated business capability POD.

This position plays a key role in crafting backend solutions by utilizing expertise in Java and Spring Framework to enhance critical business functions.

Responsibilities
  • Enhance and maintain the Java codebase
  • Design backend microservices and REST APIs
  • Perform unit tests to ensure software reliability
  • Conduct code reviews to uphold quality standards
  • Promote best practices such as unit testing and continuous integration
  • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies for team collaboration
  • Contribute to project estimates and planning efforts
  • Mentor and provide technical support to team members
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
  • Competency in API development and microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and ReactJS
  • Familiarity with Java Messaging and cloud platforms
  • Background in financial services or wealth management is advantageous
  • Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2+)
Nice to have
  • Understanding of financial services compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka and Microsoft Azure
