Senior Java Developer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working with a global technology leader specializing in modernizing and optimizing legacy systems. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing microservices architecture solutions using Java/Spring Boot, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality deliverables. You will also work with AWS technologies and NoSQL databases, and be a part of a team that values Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement microservices architecture solutions using Java/Spring Boot
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless data transfer and integration
- Work with AWS technologies and NoSQL databases to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes using Concourse CI or Jenkins
- Optimize and fine-tune Java applications to ensure enhanced performance and scalability
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong command of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, and/or Spring Cloud Streams
- Experience designing and developing microservices architecture solutions using Java/Spring Boot
- Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases, especially Oracle
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, especially using Concourse CI or Jenkins
- Proficiency in REST API design and development
- Experience with ReactJS
- Experience with AWS
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams
- Fluent English language skills with an upper-intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with OSS Cloud Foundry, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or Pivotal Web Services
