We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will focus on creating and maintaining durable back-end systems with an emphasis on scalability and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and maintain scalable and efficient back-end solutions
- Develop and implement microservices and RESTful APIs to meet business requirements
- Conduct thorough unit testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the codebase
- Perform code reviews to maintain quality standards and ensure consistency across the team
- Promote development best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration processes
- Participate in SCRUM ceremonies to align with team goals and project timelines
- Assist with project planning and estimation to ensure timely delivery of tasks
- Support and mentor junior developers while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software development
- Proficiency in Java programming
- Experience developing applications with Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with JUnit for unit testing
- Familiarity with designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Working knowledge of SQL for database management and operations
- Fluency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Background in the financial services industry, particularly in wealth management
- Experience with Spring Batch for batch processing workflows
- Knowledge of Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Understanding of microservice architecture and design patterns
- Experience using MongoDB for database management
