Senior Java Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working on a multi-year program to reimagine and re-platform a legacy application suite as a SaaS based solution using modern technologies and frameworks deployed on AWS cloud. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be part of a core team that has already built relationships with key executives and owners of products.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with key product stakeholders to identify and resolve design issues, ensuring seamless and user-centered designs
- Develop high-quality and scalable software solutions using Java, ReactJS, REST, and Spring Boot
- Design and develop microservices architecture solutions using Java/SpringBoot, ensuring modularity and scalability
- Ensure the reliability and performance of software solutions through rigorous testing and debugging efforts
- Participate in design reviews, offering input on requirements, product design, and potential challenges
- Contribute to the development of cloud-based architectures and services using AWS, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
- Provide assistance and support to junior developers, contributing to their professional growth
- Review and ensure the quality control of code deliverables to meet the highest standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Java development
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), highlighting your understanding of cloud-based architectures and services
- Experience with ReactJS, REST, and Spring Boot, enabling you to bring your creative ideas to life
- Experience in designing and developing microservices architecture solutions
- Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases, especially Oracle
- Proficiency in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), especially using Concourse CI or Jenkins, ensuring a streamlined development process
- Strong focus on teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with OSS Cloud Foundry, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or Pivotal Web Services
- Experience with other cloud-based architectures and services beyond AWS
