Senior Java Developer

Java, Spring Boot, Amazon Web Services, ReactJS, Object-oriented Programming, Docker

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in developing full-cycle applications in full feature agile teams to join our remote team. Our client is a multinational investment bank, and you will be responsible for building a system for their Wealth Management division. As a Senior Java Developer, you will lead a team of developers, system analysts, and quality analysts in the development and testing of full-cycle applications. You will also be responsible for driving automation pyramid and integrating with CI/CD tools for continuous validation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop full-cycle application in full feature agile teams
  • Drive automation pyramid and integrate with CI/CD tools for continuous validation
  • Ensure quality of the code, i.e., write automated unit tests, integration tests, etc.
  • Manage and debug your deployments from testing environments all the way to production
  • Contribute to the success of our customer projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • 3+ years of experience with IT projects
  • Strong Java Skills
  • Spring/Spring Boot experience
  • Strong Knowledge of OOP and design patterns
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience Amazon AWS (EKS/ECS, Redis, Postgre, Cloud watch)
  • Experience with SQL/NoSql databases
  • Experience in React js
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of banking / finance sectors
  • Experience using orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Mesos
  • Experience with Jmeter/HP virtual performance/Cucumber/Karate/Selenium
