We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with a strong focus on AWS to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating, enhancing, and maintaining scalable backend systems. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, efficient, and high-performing solutions aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and applications using Java frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions
- Design and optimize scalable applications based on microservices architecture principles
- Create and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate smooth system communication
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and deployment processes
- Work with SQL databases to design, query, and optimize data structures for application needs
- Utilize AWS services to build, deploy, and monitor cloud-based solutions
- Employ Spring Boot to develop reliable and high-performance backend systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure system reliability and optimal performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Java development
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and processes for automating software delivery
- Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch for deploying and managing cloud infrastructures
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database design, querying, and optimization
- Knowledge of microservices architecture for modular and scalable application development
- Advanced experience with Spring Boot for backend application development
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development for seamless integration
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with unit testing frameworks to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases for managing semi-structured and unstructured data in Java-based applications
