We are seeking a talented Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working on an innovative software tool that predicts molecule metabolism for different models and test systems. Our application allows users to draw new metabolites, look for existing ones, and register them. As a Java Developer, you will play a vital role in developing new functionality and enhancements for the applications in scope, identifying and evaluating technology solutions and processes, and fixing defects for the applications in scope. Responsibilities
  • Develop new functionality and enhancements for the applications in scope, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to software development best practices
  • Fix defects for the applications in scope, utilizing your strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Identify and evaluate technology solutions and processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the most efficient and effective solutions are implemented
  • Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality code, adhering to project timelines and milestones
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software development meets business requirements and user needs
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Java (version 15), Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Git, Maven, and JUnit, demonstrating your in-depth knowledge of software development
  • Experience in React js and AWS
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate technology solutions and processes, showcasing your strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in developing new functionality and enhancements for applications in scope, highlighting your proficiency in software development methodologies and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, crucial for identifying and fixing defects for applications in scope
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
