Our company is currently seeking a Senior Java Developer well-versed in Amazon Web Services and who demonstrates a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms. The successful candidate will join our remote team as a Product Engineer.
This role includes designing and building software solutions that are both scalable and maintainable. Your technical prowess will span diverse technologies, including Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, and extend to areas such as Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. As part of a team that includes developers, testers, and other stakeholders, your contribution will be key to ensuring on-time and successful delivery of our product.
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and generate solutions
- Development and execution of scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Creation and maintenance of cleanly-coded software
- Performance of code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Establishment and upkeep of automated tests to verify the quality of deliverables
- Participation in Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
- Punctuality and top-notch quality in code delivery
- Documentation of code and system architecture
- Participation in discussions on system design and architecture
- Guidance and mentoring to less experienced developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a field of similar nature
- A minimum of 4 years’ software development experience, primarily with Java
- Previous work with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Competence in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL tools, as well as APIs and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Proficiency with Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- Highly proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and problem-solving ability
- Fluent English with an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective cooperation with remote teams
Nice to have
- Previous engagement with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- A basic understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
