We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team.
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients. You will be required to use your expertise in Java and related technologies such as AWS and Angular, to create scalable and robust software applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects in different domains and to be part of a dynamic team working towards delivering innovative solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire software development life cycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end solutions that meet customer needs
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for internal and external use
- Deploy applications to AWS cloud environments and ensure their scalability and reliability
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other team members
- Ensure that software development best practices are followed and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns
- Expertise in Spring, Hibernate, and Java Bootstrapping Frameworks
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and deploying applications to cloud environments
- Strong familiarity with Microservice Architecture Pattern, REST, SOAP, and Web Services
- Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency (B2+)
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
