We are in search of a Senior Java Developer to enhance our remote team.
As a Senior Java Developer, your role will encompass the design, development, and maintenance of superior software solutions for our clients. Your expertise in Java and associated technologies, such as AWS and Angular, will be crucial in crafting scalable and robust software applications. This role presents the exciting chance to work on diverse projects across various domains and to be an integral part of a dynamic team striving to deliver innovative solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Involvement in the complete software development life cycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and maintenance
- Creation of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using Java and associated technologies
- Cooperation with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that fulfill customer requirements
- Design and implementation of RESTful APIs for both internal and external utilization
- Deployment of applications to AWS cloud environments and ensuring their scalability and reliability
- Execution of code reviews and provision of feedback to other team members
- Adherence to software development best practices and contribution to the continuous improvement of the development process
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, with a solid comprehension of software development principles and design patterns
- Proficiency in Spring, Hibernate, and Java Bootstrapping Frameworks
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and experience in deploying applications to cloud environments
- A strong understanding of Microservice Architecture Pattern, REST, SOAP, and Web Services
- Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Angular or other contemporary JavaScript frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- An upper-intermediate level of English proficiency (B2+)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Proficiency in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
