We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to become part of our remote team.
In this role, you'll be tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining top-tier software solutions for our clients. Leveraging your expertise in Java and associated technologies like AWS and Angular, you will create scalable, robust software applications. This position offers the chance to work on diverse projects across various domains and to be an integral member of a dynamic team delivering innovative solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Involvement in the complete software development life cycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and maintenance
- Creation of high-quality, scalable, maintainable software solutions using Java and related technologies
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that satisfy customer requirements
- Designing and implementing RESTful APIs for both internal and external use
- Deployment of applications to AWS cloud environments, ensuring their scalability and reliability
- Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to fellow team members
- Upholding software development best practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of the development process
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Java development, with a solid grasp of software development principles and design patterns
- Proficiency in Spring, Hibernate, and Java Bootstrapping Frameworks
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and deploying applications to cloud environments
- Strong understanding of Microservice Architecture Pattern, REST, SOAP, and Web Services
- Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Angular or similar modern JavaScript frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2+)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
