Senior Integration Engineer (MuleSoft API)
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Integration Engineer with expertise in MuleSoft API to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will utilize your MuleSoft expertise to deliver robust integration solutions to meet our client's needs. You'll collaborate with stakeholders and team members to drive continuous improvements and apply best practices for API and integration development.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with client stakeholders to provide a high-quality service in a friendly, professional manner
- Support the delivery squad with scoping and estimation
- Develop, configure, test, and support MuleSoft API & Integration applications
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset alongside API & integration best practices
- Enforce coding standards and perform code reviews constructively
- Perform comprehensive unit and integration testing with testing automation
- Collaborate in an Agile organization and participate in Agile ceremonies
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform including MuleSoft Runtime, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, and Design Center
- Work experience in integration technology
- MuleSoft Developer Certification (Mule 4) Level 1 & Level 2
- Proficiency in designing and troubleshooting reusable transformations in DataWeave 2.0
- Strong understanding of Integration best practices, design patterns, RESTful APIs, and microservice architectures
- Good understanding and working experience with connectors like database, file, web service, object store, and messaging (JMS, Kafka, AMQP, SNS/SQS), and enterprise applications (Salesforce, SAP, Workday)
- Experience with SaaS MuleSoft integration patterns and ServiceNow APIs/integration
- Capability to work with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Competency in synchronous and asynchronous services
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to comfortably participate in technical workshops with the client
- Ability to identify project risks proactively and provide mitigation options
- Open-minded approach to dynamic, emerging requirements with a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement
Nice to have
- Experience with HR or Finance domain, knowledge of Workday app
- Experience with Cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes/Runtime Fabric (RTF)
- Hands-on experience in designing API specification using RAML or OAS
- Experience with test automation frameworks
- Implementation experience of CI/CD concepts and DevOps tool automation (e.g. Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus)
