Senior Integration Engineer (MuleSoft API)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Integration Engineer with expertise in MuleSoft API development to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Engage closely with client stakeholders to deliver high-quality services in a collaborative, professional manner
  • Support delivery squads by contributing to scoping and estimation efforts
  • Develop, configure, test, and maintain MuleSoft API and integration applications tailored to client needs
  • Implement and advocate for API and integration best practices, focusing on reusable patterns, continuous improvement, and innovation
  • Perform code reviews constructively while ensuring compliance with coding standards and conventions
  • Conduct comprehensive unit testing, integration testing, and implement testing automation to ensure high-quality solutions
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and adhere to Agile software development practices
Requirements
  • 3+ years of work experience in integration technology
  • Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and its core components, including Runtime, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, and Design Center
  • Proficiency in designing and troubleshooting reusable transformations using DataWeave 2.0
  • Considerable experience with RESTful APIs and microservice architectures
  • Knowledge of integration best practices, design patterns, and SaaS MuleSoft integration patterns, such as REST APIs, asynchronous integration (webhook/platform events with message/event broker), batch integrations
  • Background in working with connectors like database, file, web service, object store along with messaging systems (e.g., JMS, Kafka, AMQP, SNS/SQS) and enterprise applications (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Workday)
  • Competency in synchronous and asynchronous services
  • Hands-on experience in SQL and NoSQL databases
  • MuleSoft Developer Certification (Mule 4) Level 1 & Level 2
  • Strong communication skills for technical workshops with clients and open collaboration within teams
  • Familiarity with identifying project risks and providing appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with emerging requirements and continuously contribute to team success
Nice to have
  • Experience with Cloud services like AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes/Runtime Fabric (RTF)
  • Showcase of designing API specifications using RAML or OAS
  • Implementation experience with CI/CD concepts and DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with Web Services (SOAP) and knowledge of XML and XSLT transformations
