Back to SearchWe are seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to help architect, deploy, and operate secure application infrastructure that aligns with business objectives.
This role is responsible for developing scalable and resilient security solutions, administering and troubleshooting IAM systems, and applying architectural and engineering principles to support business initiatives. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing diverse applications and data systems, and experienced in planning and designing security policies.
Responsibilities
- Work independently with minimal supervision to deliver IAM solutions
- Design and build robust security solutions to protect enterprise assets
- Develop and implement security architectures and strategies that safeguard information system resources
- Integrate technology solutions that comply with Information Security policies and standards while supporting business goals
- Mentor team members and other colleagues on security best practices
- Stay current with security technology trends, emerging threats, and industry developments
- Create long-term strategies for the evolution and support of security systems
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Ping AIC, ACI, PingOne Protect, and PingOne Verify for identity and access management
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Java, or Python for developing and customizing security solutions
- Working knowledge of Active Directory (AD) or other LDAP Directory Services for user authentication and authorization
- Understanding of Intrusion Detection systems to identify and respond to security threats
- Experience with Security Policies and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for enforcing security standards
- Familiarity with Operating System (OS) hardening techniques to reduce vulnerabilities
- Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) and Federation protocols such as SAML and OIDC for seamless and secure user access
- Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to enhance account security
- Understanding of Certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for secure communications and authentication
- Strong grasp of Identity Management concepts for managing user identities and access rights
- Experience with Cloud Technology and device authentication for securing cloud-based environments
- Excellent communication skills in English at B2 level or higher for effective collaboration and documentation
Nice to have
- Experience with additional Identity & Access Management (IAM) technologies for broader system integration
- Skills in deploying and supporting HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and secure storage
- Experience with BeyondTrust PowerBroker for privileged access management
- Proficiency in support activities such as tracing, logging, and real-time troubleshooting to quickly resolve security incidents
