We are seeking a Senior Golang Engineer to join our dynamic team, where you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing backend systems and tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products and solutions.

Responsibilities
- Design robust components, interfaces, and tools with a focus on discovery, moderation, and regulation enforcement
- Build scalable solutions that enhance product usability for Payments teams and other stakeholders
- Write clean and efficient Golang code for libraries and products while reviewing PHP, JavaScript (ES6), and React code
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including technical and non-technical groups
- Ensure codebase quality through rigorous testing practices and performance optimization strategies
- Enhance existing backend services and develop new solutions for web-based applications
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance to elevate team expertise
- Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes related to backend architecture
- Drive initiatives to improve collaboration and code standards within the engineering department
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience programming for web applications
- Strong expertise with Golang in backend development
- Proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS across client-side frameworks
- Background in working with MySQL or similar RDBMS platforms
- Familiarity with modern development tools and practices, including testing and CI/CD
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- High motivation and a self-starter mentality, with a focus on accountability
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Node.js, PHP, and ReactJS
- Background in optimizing MySQL queries for high-traffic environments
- Flexibility to use other backend technologies when needed
- Understanding of modern web performance strategies like server-side rendering
