Senior Functional Testing Engineer

We are in search of a proficient Senior Functional Testing Engineer to become an integral part of our dynamic team.

In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of functional tests to evaluate the quality and performance of software applications.

Responsibilities

Manage the creation and upkeep of test documentation, including plans, cases, and scripts
Work alongside various teams to collect requirements and guarantee comprehensive testing
Direct functional testing efforts, analyze results, and identify defects
Coach junior engineers and advise on optimal testing practices
Sustain testing environments, data, and tools essential for functional testing

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance
Proficiency in testing fundamentals and methodologies pertinent to functional testing
Skills in using test management tools and defect tracking systems
Competency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or UFT
Understanding of software development life cycles like Agile and Waterfall
Awareness of continuous integration and deployment processes
Capability to craft detailed test cases based on system requirements
Previous involvement in software development, quality assurance, or related fields
