We are seeking a skilled and driven Senior Functional Testing Engineer to join our energetic team.

In this position, you will manage the creation and execution of functional tests to assess the quality and performance of software applications.

Responsibilities

Oversee the creation and maintenance of testing documentation including plans, cases, and scripts
Collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and ensure extensive testing
Lead the efforts in functional testing, assess results, and pinpoint defects
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best testing practices
Maintain testing environments, data, and tools necessary for functional testing

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience in QA
Deep understanding of testing fundamentals and methodologies related to functional testing
Skilled in using test management tools and defect tracking systems
Proficient in automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or UFT
Understanding of software development life cycles like Agile and Waterfall
Awareness of continuous integration and deployment processes
Capable of designing detailed test cases as per system requirements
Previous experience in software development, quality assurance, or related roles
