Senior Functional Testing Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Functional Testing Engineer to become part of our dynamic team.

In this role, you will oversee the planning, design, and implementation of functional tests to verify the quality and functionality of software applications.

Responsibilities

Manage the development and upkeep of test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure thorough test coverage
Direct functional testing efforts, analyze test outcomes, and identify defects
Coach junior testing engineers and advise on top testing practices
Oversee test environments, test data, and testing tools to aid functional testing

Requirements

3+ years of experience in QA
In-depth knowledge of testing principles and functional testing methods
Proficiency in utilizing test management tools and defect tracking systems
Expertise in automated testing tools like Selenium, TestComplete, or UFT
Familiarity with software development methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes
Ability to design comprehensive test cases based on system requirements
Prior experience in software development, quality assurance, or a similar field
