Senior Functional Tester For Software Company

Developing testing strategy and test cases as part of a product development team

Creating test suites for testing of new functionality and regression of existing functions

Manual testing of new backend functionality and regression of existing functions as required to assure quality of the sprint/release deliverables

Log and take ownership of defects of defects found

3+ years of experience with Functional Testing

Experience with testing online services / Internet-based systems

Experience with backend testing and backend integration testing

Experience with developing and executing automated test suites with TestNG (nice to have)

Experience with Agile development methodology

Experience with diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving quality issues

Knowledge of Database technologies and SQL

Knowledge of XML

Knowledge of Unix is advantage

Knowledge of QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design, planning and execution.

Ability to work with a remote team

Ability to communicate clearly in writing, by phone, and in person with other teams

Ability to help launch new projects and follow through to completion
