Senior Functional Tester

We are seeking a skilled Senior Functional Tester to join our remote team.As a Senior Tester specializing in functional testing, you will be responsible for the testing of newly implemented product backlog items, regression testing, and smoke testing. Additionally, you will write test cases based on business requirements and apply relevant business knowledge in data collection, preparation, reporting, and testing REST API and web apps (JavaScript).

Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional testing of newly implemented product backlog items
  • Perform regression testing to ensure product stability
  • Execute smoke testing to identify basic functionality issues
  • Write test cases based on business requirements
  • Apply relevant business knowledge in data collection, preparation, and reporting
  • Test REST API and web apps (JavaScript) for functionality and performance
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure testing aligns with business needs
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in functional testing
  • Expertise in using Postman
  • Strong understanding and experience in testing REST API and web apps (JavaScript)
  • Experience in testing Property, Insurance, Rentals, and Mortgages domains
  • Proficiency in writing test cases based on business requirements
  • Good understanding and experience in regression testing and smoke testing
  • Solid knowledge of data collection, preparation, and reporting
  • Fluency in written and spoken English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with Jenkins, SoapUI (Open Source), and Web UI Test Automation Tools in Java
