Senior Functional Tester

We are inviting a Senior Functional Tester to enhance our remote team. The role entails managing the entire testing lifecycle for our digital platforms and related interaction points. The ideal candidate will adeptly develop test scenarios for newly introduced features and lead the way in facilitating effective resolutions for any issues that arise.

Responsibilities

Craft, refine, and implement test cases and scenarios
Discover, log, and meticulously document any bugs or issues encountered
Engage in proactive collaboration with developers and product managers to troubleshoot and resolve problems
Perform thorough regression testing following the resolution of bugs to ensure continuous system integrity
Evaluate and communicate test results to the development team
Stay informed on the latest advancements in testing methodologies
Uphold and ensure adherence to established testing standards and protocols
Coordinate and manage communications regarding the progress and outcomes of testing with all relevant parties

Requirements

Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field
Possesses at least 2 years of experience in a Functional Testing role
Demonstrates robust skills in requirement analysis for comprehensive test coverage
Proficient in managing defects, including their identification, documentation, and reporting
Skilled in formulating precise test cases for functional evaluations
Able to conduct effective regression tests to ensure recent changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities
Well-versed in using Atlassian Cloud tools for project management and issue tracking
Fluent in English, with a proficiency at a B2 level or higher

A solid understanding of digital and e-commerce platforms to align testing strategies with business objectives more effectively
Advanced proficiency in utilizing Atlassian tools for enhanced functionality
Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks to optimize testing processes
