Senior Front-End Developer

Front-End Development, Next.js, Amazon Web Services

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our web applications' visual and interactive elements, ensuring a seamless user experience that aligns with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with designers and back-end developers to deliver aesthetically pleasing and functionally robust front-end architectures.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Lead front-end development projects, coordinating with project managers and software engineers to deliver on time and within budget
  • Maintain and improve the usability of our websites and web applications
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code that adheres to company guidelines and industry best practices
  • Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces in different browsers to ensure a consistent experience
  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Front-End Developer
  • Proficient in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Extensive experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
  • Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
  • Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Expertise in performing unit testing using advanced testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Mocha, or Karma
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, capable of a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with AWS services and managing cloud-based environments
  • Familiarity with GraphQL as a data query language
  • Proficiency in handling SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
