We are looking for an experienced Senior DRC / Tax Consultant with strong SAP S/4HANA expertise to join our team for a greenfield implementation.
You will focus on direct and indirect tax compliance, leveraging ABAP skills to create and enhance statutory reports. This is a unique opportunity to shape tax processes from the ground up—apply now to be part of this strategic project.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define tax strategies aligned with business goals and regulations
- Lead configuration of SAP S/4HANA tax modules for accurate calculations and compliance
- Gather and analyze tax-related requirements from finance teams
- Design and document compliant tax processes and workflows in SAP S/4HANA
- Develop and execute test plans to validate tax settings and reports
- Provide training and support to end-users on tax processes and SAP functionalities
- Ensure SAP S/4HANA system compliance with evolving tax laws
- Coordinate with finance, IT, and external auditors for smooth integration
- Create custom reports and enhancements using ABAP
- Support data migration activities for tax-related information
- Identify opportunities to improve tax process efficiency within the system
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in tax consulting with a focus on direct and indirect taxes
- Proven leadership experience in cross-functional project teams
- Successful track record in corporate tax projects involving SAP S/4HANA
- Strong technical expertise in SAP S/4HANA tax modules and ABAP
- In-depth knowledge of local and international tax regulations
- Excellent analytical skills for interpreting complex tax requirements
- Strong communication skills for explaining tax concepts to non-specialists
- Project management skills with on-time, on-budget delivery
- Upper-Intermediate (B2) English proficiency with strong verbal and written skills
Nice to have
- Experience with greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementations
