Senior DevOps with Cloud.AWS for Retail Company

Proactively identify and drive automation of tasks associated with end-to-end deployment and delivery of services and infrastructure

Creating well-designed, documented and tested software and infrastructure solutions in AWS that meet architecture requirements

Develop self-service infrastructure provisioning and delivery pipelines

Write simple, performant, effective and scalable code

Collaborate with internal teams and respective stakeholders to understand user requirements and implement technical solutions

Support the organization by driving end-to-end workload hosting solutions to support infrastructure automation and provisioning

Identifying and addressing bugs, deficiencies, and performance bottlenecks

Actively participate in identifying and implementing product improvements

Continuously improving the observability, stability and availability of delivered products

Development and improvement of serverless and containerized architecture

Participating in an agile delivery team, helping to ensure the technical quality of the features delivered across the team, including documentation, testing strategies, and code

3+ years of relevant experience

Profound experience in AWS cloud technologies, services and integrations

Extended experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management

Proficiency in cloud-based DevOps practices, specifically in Terraform

Expertise in containerization with Docker/Kubernetes or AWS EKS

Practical experience working with serverless workload architecture

Qualified to create high level architectural designs and integrations from scratch regarding containerized and serverless workload environments

Knowledge of Shell/Bash/Python scripting

Knowledge of agile software development practices

Experience with CI/CD to reliably deploy services and infrastructure

Experience with cloud-native architectures or compatible architecture patterns favoring AWS

Good communication skills

Hands-on experience with other IaC systems like CDK and/or AWS Cloudformation

Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Istio, Consul KV, Helm

Build and deploy orchestration tools like GitLab CI, Bamboo, Jenkins

Experience in designing and implementing security solutions for AWS
