Senior DevOps with AWS

We are seeking a skilled remote Senior DevOps with experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our newly built team responsible for developing and supporting a digital platform within the insurance industry.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cloud Engineering, AWS Containers, CI/CD, and knowledge of DevOps principles.

As a Senior DevOps, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of the platform, as well as related CI/CD pipelines and practices within engineering teams aligned with Agile working practices. This role also requires an Upper-Intermediate level of English communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure evolving AWS cloud infrastructure provides maximum business value
  • Lead and facilitate a DevOps "Community of Practice"
  • Participate in architecture decisions and provide design guidance for current and future projects
  • Provide internal and external 3rd-level support related to infrastructure, Kubernetes, pipeline, and monitoring aspects of the Digital Platform
  • Become a subject matter expert on various topics, define processes, and provide training and documentation for your colleagues
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role with a primary skill in AWS
  • Strong technical experience in Cloud Engineering, AWS Containers, and CI/CD
  • Experience driving successful adoption of DevOps culture for operating entities
  • Strong knowledge of Agile working practices
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English communication skills (B2+)
