Senior DevOps Engineer with Azure for Energy Company

Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior DevOps Engineer with Azure to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice based platforms
  • Perform unit and system testing of application code as well as execution of implementation activities
  • Code review
  • Implementation of SOLID principles
  • Coordinate with other technical teams and integrate external data points into solution with minimal impact
  • Make sure that code complexity is minimal by following appropriate coding standards
  • Make sure that code coverage is maximized with unit testing framework
  • Work with architects to understand the technical designs, identify technical tasks to implement it and coordinate with developers to get it done
  • Prepare technical documentation like HLD and LLD based on architects discussion
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • English level B2+ and higher
  • Strong understanding of microservice architecture
  • Understanding of Microservices design pattern such as Aggregator or Gateway etc.
  • Understanding of Azure services like Redis Cache, CDN, DB SaaS, CosMos DB, Function Apps, AKV, Security policies, Analytics services, troubleshooting and monitoring tools on Azure
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OAuth token-based authentication protocol
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PCI and Security Coding Standards
  • Good understanding of unit testing framework
  • Prior experience with code quality tool like SonarQube and integration with CI/CD pipeline
  • Adequate knowledge on latest Azure technologies like Service bus architecture implementation, Docker based solutions, Kubernetes, blue-green deployment strategy etc
