We are looking for a remote Senior DevOps Engineer in AWS to join our team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with architects, design experts, and operations to integrate new solutions and perform post-release L3/L4 operational support. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain AWS-based cloud solutions, with an emphasis on best practices of cloud security. You will be expected to work on a broad range of AWS technologies and ensure operational supportability of design/development by working with the operations team during the design and development phase to ensure the developed solutions are always operationally supportable and are properly documented.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with architects, design experts, and operations to integrate new solutions and perform post-release L3/L4 operational support
  • Develop and maintain AWS-based cloud solutions, with an emphasis on best practices of cloud security
  • Ensure operational supportability of design/development by working with the operations team during the design and development phase to ensure the developed solutions are always operationally supportable and are properly documented
  • Automate continuous delivery and on-demand capacity management solutions
  • Guide customers in the installation and use of strategic products through education, guidance, and user manuals
  • Help to drive architectural improvements and standardization of cloud environments
  • Develop and enhance automated DevOps processes to release new solutions into the live environment
  • Ensure controls are in place for all configuration items and only authorized changes are made for all assets within enterprise IT environment
  • Maintain backlog and support Scrum Master and Product Manager for prioritization of release items and Sprint planning
  • Take accountability to ensure adherence with security and compliance policies
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, working on a broad range of AWS technologies to develop and maintain AWS-based cloud solutions, with an emphasis on best practices of cloud security
  • Expertise in AWS Security, Identity & Compliance
  • Solid experience with DevOps Orchestration/Configuration/Continuous Integration technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible
  • Experience with Linux, experience with Windows Server a plus
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Python, Bash, or Ruby
  • Great communication skills in English (B2+ level)
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of IP networking and security in AWS – VPNs, DNS, Load Balancing
  • DevOps Engineer Certification
