Senior DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated remote Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our team, with a focus on managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure while transitioning it under the umbrella of our Operations Team.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes (K8S), and YAML, and is capable of working collaboratively within a global team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a critical phase of our cloud infrastructure development.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions in AWS
- Utilize Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency
- Develop and maintain YAML-based configuration files for deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications
- Assist in the migration of existing infrastructure and services to the cloud environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the cloud infrastructure, working to optimize performance and ensure high availability
- Collaborate with the Operations (Ops) Team to ensure a smooth transition of cloud infrastructure management responsibilities
- Contribute to documentation efforts, providing clear and concise guidelines for cloud setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and CloudFormation
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (K8S)
- Solid understanding of YAML
- Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and best practices
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a focus on optimizing infrastructure performance
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a distributed team
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Ansible
