Senior DevOps Engineer

DevOps, Splunk, Network Administration, AWS Support, AWS Managed Services

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and help us upgrade our core banking experience. Our mission is to help everyone maximize their financial affairs and feel at ease when it comes to their finances. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation within your team and ensuring smooth operations for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automation within your team to ensure smooth operations for customers
  • Manage production issues alongside team stories
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including engineers, developers, business, and security
  • Ensure timely escalation of issues and resolution of possible problems
  • Upgrade core banking experience from the accounts and payments processing perspective
  • Identify possible issues and proactively signal them to colleagues
  • Gather requirements and finalize stories in a timely manner
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, with expertise in networking and certificates, database technologies, both cloud resources (AWS) and data center resources (Windows), monitoring tooling (Splunk, Opsgenie, AppDynamics) and development/deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps, Octopus)
  • Proficient in communication with multiple stakeholders, including engineers, developers, business, and security
  • Experience in designing and implementing automation within your team
  • Familiarity with SQL/MongoDB, Messaging, and Banking Applications
  • Ability to manage production issues alongside team stories
  • Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and timely escalation of issues
  • Knowledge of cross-platform experience with MS Windows, Linux, and AWS is an advantage
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English
Nice to have
  • Experience with migrating (Windows) backend/middleware systems to cloud
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies
