Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to become a key part of our innovative development team. This role focuses on leveraging advanced AI and machine learning technologies to create cutting-edge solutions tailored for legal professionals. Your work will play a crucial role in streamlining processes, boosting efficiency, and elevating the quality of client representation.

Responsibilities
  • Balance DevOps (70%) and Python development (30%) tasks
  • Migrate internal Docker images and dependencies from Google Container Registry (GCR) to Artifact Registry
  • Upgrade Docker images and manage application dependencies to ensure stability and performance
  • Resolve vulnerabilities in Python-based applications
  • Audit and update cloud service configurations and privileges using Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Contribute to cloud migration efforts from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to AWS and participate in disaster recovery exercises
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in production-level DevOps operations
  • Proficiency in working with EKS and AWS for cloud-based solutions
  • Expertise in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong skills in Python programming for development and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with authentication basics, with the ability to implement or resolve issues related to services like OnePass or Azure B2C CIAM migrations
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies such as CloudFormation, SOC2, Jenkins, Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm, and Elasticsearch
  • Experience in backing up and restoring PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch clusters
  • Preferred educational background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
