We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team, working with a leading company in the technology industry. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our CI/CD platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for making improvement proposals to increase the efficiency of support processes and application maintenance, testing, and deployment. Responsibilities
- Ensure that tasks are executed on agreed time, cost, and quality constraints, following the release calendars and support SLAs
- Collaborate with the application and project management teams that build and manage the applications running on top of the CI/CD platforms
- Make improvement proposals to increase the efficiency of support processes, application maintenance, testing, and deployment, and increase the level of automation and quality of application support
- Work with multiple product vendors to address bugs and perform Root-cause analysis
- Contribute to the technical design of application components, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the availability and performance of our systems
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Amazon Web Services, demonstrating your expertise in cloud-based infrastructure and services
- In-depth knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and scripting languages, enabling you to design and implement scalable and reliable systems
- Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service, showcasing your proficiency in container orchestration and management
- Strong focus on automation and experience with CI/CD pipelines, allowing you to streamline deployment processes and increase efficiency
- Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with other container orchestration tools like Nomad or Mesos
- Knowledge of networking and security principles and practices
- Experience with log management and analysis tools like ELK Stack or Splunk
- Experience with database administration and management tools like MySQL or MongoDB
