We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team, contributing to the development and maintenance of our cloud-based infrastructure using Amazon Web Services, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security. You will work closely with other teams to ensure a seamless integration of our cloud infrastructure with our software applications. Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure, implementing best practices and standards
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of our cloud infrastructure with our software applications
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues in real-time, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime
  • Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby
  • Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure, implementing best practices and standards
  • Participate in design reviews, offering input on infrastructure requirements, design, and potential challenges
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps, demonstrating your expertise in cloud infrastructure management using Amazon Web Services
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm, showcasing your ability to manage containerized applications effectively
  • Experience in Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), enabling you to manage and deploy containers at scale
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby, allowing you to automate routine tasks and processes
  • Strong focus on security and compliance, ensuring the security and safety of our cloud infrastructure
  • Excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking capabilities to effectively convey feedback and insights
  • Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset, crucial for meticulous infrastructure management
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
Nice to have
  • Experience in managing hybrid cloud environments, showcasing your ability to manage cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms
  • Experience in serverless computing, demonstrating your expertise in managing serverless applications using Google Cloud Functions.
