We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure of cloud-based systems. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our applications. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the development and improvement of our infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Working closely with a wide range of container automation tooling such as Kubernetes and EKS
  • Providing exceptional Tier2 Support for multiple compute platforms and their containerised solution
  • Deploy, implement, and maintain a secure scalable compute platform as it evolves with the industry
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to optimize existing systems, improve infrastructure and eliminate work through automation
  • Design and build automation suites to streamline operational support
  • Participate in our on-call rotation for production services we build
  • Work alongside other teams in helping provide post mortem analysis of why services broke or became degraded
Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role, with a focus on cloud-based systems
  • Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters and deploying applications using Helm and Service Mesh technologies
  • Expertise in using monitoring and analytics tools such as Datadog for infrastructure and application performance management
  • Understanding of cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.) architectures/services
  • Advanced scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation and infrastructure management
  • Established understanding of observability fundamentals (Logging, Metrics, Tracing)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Proven experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
  • Knowledge of CNCF tools like ArgoCD, Crossplane and Kyverno
