We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and work on a project that aims to improve, monitor, scale, and maintain our customer's online banking applications and infrastructure. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the DevOps architecture, tooling, and processes for our customer's Cloud operations. You will also be responsible for providing support for existing applications and infrastructure, as well as developing automation and monitoring solutions for new products and features.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement DevOps architecture, tooling, and processes for our customer's Cloud operations
- Provide support for existing applications and infrastructure, including on-call rotation
- Develop automation and monitoring solutions for new products and features
- Create and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and procedures
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure that new products and features are deployable, scalable, and maintainable
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with AWS Managed Services, AWS Support, Azure DevOps Services, and Splunk
- Experience in DevOps tool integrations, monitoring implementation, and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers
- Excellent understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in deploying and maintaining distributed systems and microservices architectures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Experience with Core Banking Systems and Mobile Banking
- Knowledge of CloudFormation and Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Puppet
