Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in AWS to become part of our dynamic team.

This role will be pivotal in our transition to a more contemporary, microservice-driven architecture while developing a sleek React-based UI. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the creation, implementation, and upkeep of our infrastructures and applications.

Responsibilities
  • Create and execute CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, GitHub, and AWS CodePipeline
  • Oversee the deployment and management of AWS services including EKS, Lambda, and RDS
  • Apply Docker and Kubernetes for effective containerization and orchestration
  • Set up and manage monitoring solutions with AWS CloudWatch and ELK Stack
  • Engineer infrastructure via Terraform
  • Participate in a SAFe Agile-driven development framework
  • Enhance code quality through systematic versioning with Git and GitHub Actions
  • Facilitate the development and merging of Restful APIs
  • Constantly seek and implement enhancements in deployment practices and tools
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with AWS
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools management including Jenkins and GitHub
  • Proficiency in container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Qualifications in configuring and utilizing monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch and ELK Stack
  • Proficiency in deploying and managing microservices architecture in the cloud
  • Knowledge of code versioning with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
  • Fluency in Portuguese (preferred) and English, or a minimum C1 English proficiency for non-Portuguese speakers
  • Background in Agile methodologies, with a preference for SAFe Agile
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • Proficiency in developing solutions with ArgoCD and Terraform
  • Capability to deploy applications across multiple cloud platforms
