We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team embedded within a customer-focused environment.

You will be responsible for system reliability, monitoring improvements, and provisioning and automation of cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless collaboration with development teams and delivering engineering efficiency.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability and scalability
Lead improvements in application and system monitoring, specifically using Datadog
Design and implement infrastructure automation with Terraform and Python
Collaborate closely with development teams, providing insights, support, and tools to improve processes and workflows
Identify areas for system improvement and recommend automation solutions to drive efficiency
Work independently to address complex tasks, conduct research, and deliver results without constant supervision
Enhance system security and optimize networking configurations within the cloud environment
Maintain client relationships through excellent communication and proactive solutions
Ensure transparency in processes and contribute effectively in a fast-paced startup-like environment

Requirements

3+ years of experience in operational DevOps/SRE positions
Expertise in application monitoring tools, particularly Datadog
Solid knowledge of AWS and Terraform
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling
Background in close collaboration with developers, contributing to application improvements and supporting daily workflows
Competency in solving ambiguous tasks independently and delivering results without continual guidance
Skills in maintaining clear communication and enthusiasm for client-facing roles
Familiarity with startup environments and adaptability to rapid changes

Nice to have

Understanding of cloud networking and security practices
Showcase of cloud storage optimization strategies
Familiarity with CI/CD-related systems, Firewalls, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, and PostgreSQL
