Senior DevOps Developer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Developer to join our remote team for a green field project in partnership with one of the world's top green energy companies. The project is an innovation project aimed at integrating batteries and other storage solutions into wind and solar power plants to solve a number of use cases. As a Senior DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the solution from end to end, and working with the development team to establish Azure DevOps best practices and an automated CI/CD environment.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the development team to establish Azure DevOps best practices on the project
  • Establish an automated CI/CD environment that supports the project's complex requirements
  • Ensure the quality of the solution from end to end, including establishing testing frameworks and processes
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Drive continuous improvement in the project's DevOps processes and practices
  • Develop and maintain documentation on the project's DevOps processes and practices
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps development, with a focus on Azure technologies
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps, including Azure CLI, Azure Functions, Azure Web apps, Azure CosmoDB, Azure Blob storage, and Azure VM
  • Experience in establishing automated CI/CD environments for complex solutions, including Container as a Service (CaaS)
  • Fluent in at least one related scripting language, such as PowerShell or Bash
  • Experience in establishing Azure DevOps best practices, including version control, branching strategies, and code reviews
  • Experience with IoT platforms, particularly Azure IoT Hub
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a development team to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
  • Experience with renewable energy solutions, particularly in the context of integrating batteries and other storage solutions into wind and solar power plants
  • Experience with TESLA Megapack or other similar products
  • Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
