We are seeking a talented Senior Deployment Data Migration Expert with a strong background in Production Planning (PP) to lead data migration projects during system implementations.
In this position, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end migration process, ensuring the accurate and efficient transfer of production planning data from legacy systems to new platforms.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all data migration activities for Production Planning (PP) modules during deployment cycles
- Evaluate, map, and transition production planning data from legacy sources to target systems
- Develop and execute migration strategies, timelines, and scripts to uphold data integrity and completeness
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and domain experts to gather requirements and validate migrated data
- Perform data quality assessments, reconciliation, and resolve migration-related issues
- Document migration procedures, challenges, and lessons learned to enhance future processes
- Support cutover activities, ensuring production planning data is ready for system activation
- Supervise go-live operations, confirming the accuracy and completeness of migrated production planning data
Requirements
- At least 3 years of practical experience in data migration or production planning roles
- Proven track record in data migration projects with a focus on Production Planning (PP) modules
- Strong knowledge of data migration tools, methodologies, and industry best practices
- Hands-on experience with SAP PP or similar production planning solutions
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Outstanding communication skills for effective teamwork with cross-functional groups
- Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to data quality
- Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken) at B2+ level or higher
