Senior Database Developer (.NET)

.NET, .NET Framework, C#, Database Knowledge and SQL Proficiency, Microsoft SQL Server, PowerShell, T-SQL, Insurance, NuGet, Property and Casualty, Visual Basic for Applications

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Database Developer with .NET proficiency to become our expert in providing support on database integrations and improvements.

The candidate will be responsible for performance tuning and ensuring high-quality delivery of database solutions in our complex, multi-disciplinary projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Stack, along with excellence in communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Improve database integrations, performance tuning, and optimization
  • Manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and DDL with T-SQL
  • Develop and maintain ADO pipelines and applications in C#
  • Provide prompt and proactive communication with project teams
  • Troubleshoot and provide analytical solutions to database problems
  • Work collaboratively in complex systems involving multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ensure on-time, quality delivery of database solutions
  • Maintain high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security in database management
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities outside normal hours
  • Learn and adapt to new technologies quickly and efficiently
  • Build and sustain diverse working relationships
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of senior-level experience in SQL and T-SQL
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Stack technologies including C#
  • Background in ADO pipelines
  • Strong familiarity with .NET Framework
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under time constraints
  • Proven track record of requirements fulfillment and defect-free project delivery
  • Experience ensuring database performance, availability, sustainability, and security

  • Knowledge of the Insurance Industry
  • Understanding of policy administration processes
  • Familiarity with NUget repo
