Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality data pipelines using Databricks and medallion architecture
- Participate in data modeling and implement data solutions aligned with project goals
- Estimate, task, and prototype data engineering solutions to meet client needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software features, design, and implementation
- Gather and clarify requirements from stakeholders to ensure solutions meet expectations
- Maintain and enhance data integration workflows and infrastructure as code
- Support data observability initiatives to improve data quality and reliability
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Data Software Engineering
- Experience with Databricks on any cloud platform, with Azure preferred
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL for data processing and analysis
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data modeling
- Experience in infrastructure as code development and maintenance
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in ambiguous environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver solutions
- English proficiency at C1 level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Azure services such as azcopy, ADLS Gen2, KeyVault, SPN, Log Analytics, and Azure Monitor
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Cloudbees and Jenkins for Databricks workflows
- Knowledge of Terraform for provisioning Azure resources including ADLS and Databricks
- Exposure to data visualization platforms such as Tableau
- Understanding of data streaming technologies like Kafka
