Responsibilities
- Resolve production issues acting as second line support
- Analyze and enhance performance of Spark applications
- Partner with Analytics and Development teams to refine code and workflows
- Develop and implement optimizations for data pipeline code
- Maintain and enhance SQL queries and database efficiency
- Support deployment and monitoring of data solutions on Azure platform
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand requirements and provide progress updates
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and quality best practices
- Assist in debugging and troubleshooting data processing tasks
- Document solutions and processes thoroughly
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
- Proven experience in Spark application development with over 3 years
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services
- Skilled in Databricks platform development and usage
- Familiarity with Python and Scala programming languages
- Strong ability to analyze and optimize query and cost performance
- High attention to detail and dedication to maintaining code and process quality
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and enhance communication skills
- Effective communication skills with B2+ level English proficiency
