We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Software Engineer to join our remote team and work on a cutting-edge project. As a Data Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that enable efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze data requirements, design and implement data models, and optimize data processing performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions that enable efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze data requirements
- Design and implement data models and database schemas
- Ensure data quality and accuracy through testing, validation, and monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
- Document software design, data models, and data processing workflows
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and software development
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data software engineering
- Expertise in AWS cloud services, particularly in data storage, processing, and analytics
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehousing solutions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level)
Nice to have
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with machine learning and data mining techniques
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
