We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Software Engineer to join our remote team and work on a cutting-edge project. As a Data Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that enable efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze data requirements, design and implement data models, and optimize data processing performance.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions that enable efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze data requirements
  • Design and implement data models and database schemas
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy through testing, validation, and monitoring
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
  • Document software design, data models, and data processing workflows
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and software development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data software engineering
  • Expertise in AWS cloud services, particularly in data storage, processing, and analytics
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehousing solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level)
Nice to have
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with machine learning and data mining techniques
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
