We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Software Engineer to join our remote team, working with a leading global provider of cloud-based data warehousing solutions.

In this position, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, data models, and data products, leveraging your expertise in Snowflake, AWS, and Python. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our data solutions, contributing to the enhancement of our product offerings and the success of our customers.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, data models, and data products
Collaborate with ingestion teams to create new pipelines as required, ensuring the scalability and reliability of our data solutions
Troubleshoot and fix production issues, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity
Test the created code and implement unit and integration tests, ensuring the quality and reliability of our data solutions
Perform data modeling for new data products, translating business requirements into technical solutions
Deploy solutions to production, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our data solutions

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Software Engineering, demonstrating your proficiency in designing and implementing complex data solutions
Expertise in Snowflake and AWS, showcasing your ability to work with large-scale data warehousing solutions
Strong programming skills in Python, enabling you to develop efficient and scalable data pipelines
In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, Apache Hadoop, Apache Kafka, and Apache Spark, highlighting your understanding of the broader data landscape
Experience in data modeling and designing data products, demonstrating your ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving production issues, showcasing your ability to work under pressure and resolve complex problems
Strong focus on teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively, maintaining a high level of performance even under pressure
Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

Experience in working with other data warehousing solutions such as Google BigQuery or Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics
Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts and tools
Experience in developing data solutions for the healthcare or financial industries
