Join our remote team as a Senior Data Software Engineer and contribute to our client's mission of eradicating cancer through innovative testing solutions. Our Client is dedicated to preventing and detecting cancer earlier and guiding its successful treatment. As a Senior Data Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the data migration strategy, using your expertise in Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Databricks, and Python. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure the successful implementation of the migration strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the data migration strategy, using your expertise in data technologies
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the successful implementation of the data migration strategy
  • Develop and test code for data migration, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality
  • Ensure the quality of the data migration process, providing valuable insights and feedback to the team
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new data solutions and technologies
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Software Engineering, demonstrating your proficiency in developing and implementing data migration strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Databricks, highlighting your expertise in these technologies
  • Proficiency in Python and AWS, enabling you to develop and test code for data migration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
Nice to have
  • Experience with Confluent Platform and Scala
